I made a map in hammer 3.5 for Half Life 2 and when I click run map it will open to Half Life 2's main menu not my map. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hammer 3.4 and 3.5 is for Half-Life 1
Hammer 4.0 and above is for Half-Life 2 "and other source games"
its because they were made long apart from each other and use different game engines and stuff

Hey fellas...
Looking for Source engine level designers. You must be pretty damn good with Half-Life 2 mapping, the more experience the merrier.

Yes. Once you get a hang of the tools, you can map with blazing speed. Just don't be discouraged at first, it's a highly powerful engine when you get the hang of it :)
