So far, Battlefield 4 looks a lot like Battlefield 3. I hope they have some big things in store for the gameplay to set it apart from any other BF, because it can't ride on it's visuals this time around like in BF3.
I'm not quite sure if I really like the CTF mode. I've tried playing with different amount of players, but still it usually ends up with the enemy team camping at your flag, and your team camping at enemy flag, and neither manages to return their own flag and score. And there are always those who plant C4's, Claymores and AT mines around the flag and just wait for somebody to arrive.
I noticed the same thing, although I actually prefer the map setup in CTF over Conquest primarily because of the battles being a little more consolidated. Plus I love chasing the bikes around in the the Scout choppers, and any map that lets you fly your Scout around without being raped by attack helis or jets is always a joy. But definitely agree on the terrible base setup of the CTF maps.
