Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning.

It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth.

The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Hello.
For the past 2 and a half hours i have been trying vigorously to implement some sort of change to a weapon in a map and have been failing miserably.I have tried editing dozens of items in the Bin folder and the closest i got was merely changing the way a shotgun looked on the map IN THE EDITOR, oncei tested the map the graphic returned to normal. is there something im missing? the object properties page doesn't give much detail, it doesn't seem to link to ANY files besides a single graphic.

The weapons visuals are all rendered from the .pak file at the moment :P No way to modify how they look in game, I'm afraid.

Basically what Jordan said.

At the moment you can ADD files, but you can't MODIFY files. So you can add new graphics, audio, maps, etc, but you can't modify existing ones.

The idea behind this is to allow people to mod the game without effecting other people playing (eg. you can't just mod the map file and delete all the collision on your version, or tweak the gun variables for SUPAR POWAR).

I'll write up a tutorial when I get the chance, its horrifically complicated lol (the weapons actually have a huge amount of files related to them, not just the config file which everyone seems to only notice lol).
