Seems a tad pricey for alphafunding, imo.
Words do not describe how much I love UFO defense.
Despite the alpha tag, this is an incredibly polished game so it's future is looking promising.
I would like to read more about it. Is there a Developer Blog or something?
Try this mate ;) Lmgtfy.com
OMG YAY, Ive been wanting something like this for QUITE a while. In for 20 :D
if it dropped by 5 euros then i'd buy it by the start of the next month, but... 15 euros for an alhpa seems a bit... neeehhh
graphics look a little sad if you ask me, if it came out 10 years ago perhaps,
fallout 2 even looks better :)
I have been playing this for the last few days and think that this is going to be a very good game, the game play is very close to the beloved UFO games of the past. It is great what they have done with the interceptor battles. I believe version 8 comes out very soon adding quite a lot to the game.
I think it's worth buying, I don't regret it. :)
Have to agree with comments here about price. £15 for an alpha!? And no demo? I think I'll stick with the very good open-source alternatives for now (eg. UFO: Alien Invasion).
It seems that people forget that you pre order a game, the ability to play the current alpha versions is just a bonus...
Just pre-ordered myself (even paid the extra 6 Euros for premium pre-order to help the devs even more), tried the currenct alpha build, and must say that the game looks extremely promising. Love the graphics style. Can't wait to try the next build which allows you to try out the research tree and other neat stuff.
The base website they have is pretty useless. Instead of being a **** and linking to google, I'll point you to the forum announcements page, which details current releases: Goldhawkinteractive.com
