Based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein's engine, Enemy Territory started as an additional single-player campaign, but quickly evolved into a massive on-line shooter in minds of creators. The final product is a multiplayer-only, tactical and teamplay shooter. Pick your class (Soldier, medic, engineer, covert operations or field operations) and cover your teammates, heal them, build machinegun nests, bridges or deploy landmines, request airstrikes or artillery support, steal your enemy's uniform, and finally give your comrades ammo. In order to be successful, cooperative team playing is required.

Umm... Do 32bit Linux games work on 64Bit Ubuntu? O_O;
Yes, they do ! You have to install ia32-libs in Synaptic, if that's not already done.
How to fix "empty server list" bug:
Etmaster.net
Note that the sound fix won't work if you decide to use fixed exe!
It doesn't work directly for me (ubuntu 11.04), but I've found a solution :
After using the script, edit et.x86 search for SDL_AUDIODRIVER and replace "alsa" by "pulse".
Didn't work for me
Oh, this means that et-sdl-sound script does not work for you. You should "rm ./et.x86 && mv ./et.x86.real ./et.x86" and then google for another solution. Good luck!
Hi there every one. I tried to run Wolfenstein on my Linux system and there is no sound and it says to check my modem settings when I treid to create a profile. It looks like a nice game like I'm used to play and swap with friends when I did go to school. The Server function is also not working on the Ubuntu 11.10 version.
