Cant play this cause "no mirrors for the game requested are available". first purchase ever on desura. is this a normal issue? should i just forget desura and go back to only spending money on steam?
I've never had that problem either. Please remember that Desura is still quite new, and there's only one guy working on it. Give it some time. :)
This was also my first purshase ever on Desura... It gave me some 'problem' in the begging saying I would have to wait a few minutes/hours for the purchase to be validated. I was only able to download the game a few hours after purchasing it.
Obviously this is no steam. But I don't think that's a reason to stop using it. Then again, it's your call. :)

gnumbskull: I've downloaded many games on Desura and never had a problem. Stick with it.
So far, I played this challenging game for almost three hours in total, and happen to find it suprisingly fun and novel to play. What a charming approach on a shopworn concept!

nvm - reducing audio hardware acceleration through control panel fixed it - anyway thanks for making a great game! :)
