Wander is a collaborative, non-combat, non-competitive game focused on exploration and joy. Life begins as a tree. Storms that affect the known planets transform you, and continue to influence your path. A rare flower has many powers that can alter your course. As you explore, you begin to discover others in the the sprawling rainforest. Working together, you unlock new experiences, piece together the plot and enjoy the varied beauty that Wander has to offer. Wander features a gorgeous landscape, large scale non-competitive play and immersive sound design to create a world like no other. Wander has optional Oculus Rift support. Wander is currently in beta and we've got big plans for what we're adding. Wander:Welcome to the rainforest

Game looks rather compelling, but I'm left with the question, is this linear?

Great fresh new concept, like we all want to hear good news from the media yet bad news sells, so this concept of no fighting and a world of exploration. I get that, and we seem to level of sorts as what appears to be new forms like tree,Human, flying creatures. But other than the obvious exploration is this directly linked to leveling of some kind? and is there crafting? do we have health bar stamina ect..? Also I see your working on greenlight on steam. If we buy Wander now do we get a key on steam when it hits steam? Your Listed as an MMO it seemS and correct me if imma wrong, this is more a Co op not so much MMO as far as game play and exploration?

I wouldn't say that the different creature forms are levelling. The azertash isn't better or worse than the thylacine or griffon. Just different. Different forms unlock different ways of exploring and different experiences. There is stamina, which limits how long you can fly and run without resting, but there is no levelling.

If you buy Wander now and it gets on Steam you'll get a steam key. Wander is available now from our site and gamersgate and soon from Desura.

Wander is an massively multiplayer game, in that everyone is in a single, giant world together and you don't choose a server to connect to, i.e it's like EvE. However it's not like WoW. It's coop MMO. :)

We're planning to introduce the dream crafting and upgradeable shelter system soon, but it's not in the current version. We're designing it right now.

I wish there was a PS3-release, too...

Sorry, PS4 and PC are the only confirmed platforms at the moment. We're trying to do a lot of stuff to make Wander even more beautiful and really push the next gen beauty aspect (which is pretty hard for an indie!). This means the ps3 version would be a lot of work to make it run well. Focusing on next gen only means we can make the most of our very limited resources.

I'm not prepared to pay £16 for a beta without the option of being upgraded for free when the release is actually out. Especially as a Linux user I suppose there would be a much better chance of finding bugs as being one of the very few linux beta testers. Other than that rather annoying process, the game from what I see and read looks rather amazing.

Tracking the game nonetheless, I will probably buy it when it is fully released on Linux and not the beta.

Hey dobby420, if you get the beta, you get any later releases that come out free. Sorry if this wasn't clear enough. We have a decent number of Linux beta testers at the moment, as some of the team are Linux users. We can always do with more though, as different distro/gpu/drivers combinations add up to new exciting bugs!

Thanks for the quick response, well if we get future releases including the final release for free once we buy this beta then I might just decide to buy this. I might buy it towards the end of the week. Cheers for the info!
