About the Cyrillic and other fonts , it will be added custom font support in one of the next updates.
As for the campaign, thanks for pointing this out. After this update is probably a good time to revise it, since it was made long before several gameplay mechanics and units were available.

Perhaps the engine needs some little optimization? :\
There is still plenty room for optimization. It will be done progressively as the game becomes more solid.
I think the crash is sorta random, but the most severe ones is Daggerfall level.
