Ultionus is a love-letter to the home computer arcade games of the late 80s and early 90s, particularly Halloween Harry, Astro Marine Corps, Duke Nukem 2 and especially Phantis/Game Over II. The game features tons of lovingly crafted pixel art, and a rockin' chiptune soundtrack by the legendary Jake 'Virt' Kaufman.

Regarding the Linux-Version using Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit:
The Game didn't run on my system. When executing the file "runner", nothing happened. So i did some research and found out, that the game was made using GameMaker Studio. This engine needs some additional packages that are not preinstalled in Ubuntu 14.04 x64. > Help.yoyogames.com
To get the game working:
In the Terminal type:
sudo apt-get install lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0 libopenal1:i386 libstdc++6:i386 libxxf86vm1 libssl1.0.0:i386 libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libopenal1
It's also necessary to make the file "runner" executable. In the Terminal go to the game directory and type:
chmod a+x runner
Now it should work. At least for me it did.

I searched my home folder a bit and it seems the save game location is on .config/Ultionus/
Good game, but quite short. I got the "Normal end" I guess. The testicular revenge has been enacted and the heroine managed to escape but she is now stranded. On which level am I supposed to do the thing they were talking about to get to the sixth level and the good end?
