Syder Arcade is a free scrolling, multi directional shoot 'em up, an uncompromised old-school experience, furious, challenging, straightforward. This game will bring you back in time, when bulky starships were cool and games were about player skill and swearing madly at your computer.
We have many updates for you! The first and most important is the upcoming release of Syder Arcade v1.3, the biggest and most awesome update to Syder Arcade to date. The other one is the release of the game OST. If you are a fan of old-school Amiga music you should really check it out!

Hey IndieDb! We have many updates for you guys! The first and most important is the upcoming release of Syder Arcade v1.3. This is the biggest and most awesome update to Syder Arcade to date. I may be a little bit biased about this, but I'm really excited for this new release.
It's a complete overhaul of the game balance, with new powerups, weapons, enemies, improved art, enhanced soundtrack and a ton of minor upgrades, from interface tweaks to performance enhancements. The main purpose of this update was to addess the major concern of our users: punishment for death was too extreme. Having to restart the level from the beginning did non add to the game challenge but only to player frustration. With 1.3 we kept the challenge level high, but when you die you respawn instantly without losing any progress, this tweak should make the game experience smoother and more accessible even to non battle-scarred arcade veterans. You can have a look at the full patch notes from our website.
We have another big announcement, many players asked for it and Syder Arcade OST is here! If you like old-school Amiga style music you cannot miss it. Here is a sneak peek at one of the included bonus tracks from 93 steps.
Speaking of GreenLight, it would be awesome if you guys could help our team bring the game to Steam by voting for Syder Arcade.Having the chance to reach a broader audience on PC would allow Studio Evil to keep updating Syder Arcade with new and awesome content, like new levels, starships, a Linux verison and maybe even co-op play. It will also allow our team to keep focusing on PC, Mac and Linux releases, and keep the mobile app stores as a secondary business.
Thanks for reading this wall of text, I hope you enjoy our new update when it's released next week.
