EXPERIENCE THE REALTIME INTERACTION IN A MOVIE
At its core Stay Dead is a 'round beat'em up' like Street Fighter with elements taken from rhythm games.
The brand new idea behind Stay Dead is to have a real time interaction inside a cinematographic scene, using the main character as if he would be a videogame character.
Stay Dead is the union of movies and videogames.
Finally, the sound and graphic quality of a movie joins effectively the interaction of a next generation videogame, creating a unique and involving game experience.
LIBERTY OF ACTION
In Stay dead, even if the graphic is entirely shot in real life, you can move your character and you can perform more than 150 different techniques distributed in 5 stages.
Use all the classic moves of the fighting games, just watch the result of your stunts with a never seen before spectacularity that just a real life shot with a cinematographic direction can provide.
ROB FULOP LIKES 'STAY DEAD'
Veteran programmer and 'father' of the interactive movie, Rob Fulop, gives his approval to the project.

This game is not really about QTE. The game play is more like a rhythm game and i don't think that the players consider the rhythm game based on QTE. The round beat'em up structure is the only thing taken from Street Fighter, so it's a little bit hard to compare the gameplay of stay dead with the gameplay of street fighters. But this game really has a high degree of freedom besides the fact that it's totally made with live footage. I played it a lot and I can assure you.
this is a QTE ... No liberty of incredibles fights like in a street fighter or even a soul calibur... Sorry, this is not my cup of tea.
im sure you've been asked this before, but is there any chance that you could a demo?
really sorry, but we haven't planned demo yet. but gianbomb made a quick look video few days ago. maybe it could be useful to better understand the game.

Um, no. I for one don't trust a video on its own merits, that's what ended up making me mistakenly think Borderlands was the game meant for me (when in reality I got only a paltry few hours of entertainment out of it. And a bunch of hours where I frustratedly had to grind by killing melee focused wild life).
I want to be able to feel the reactions between my keyboard/mouse with the game. Experience is a lot more clarifying than watching someone else do it.
Game is really fun until you start to get into the more difficult skill levels. I know for a fact that i'll never see the last character because I just don't have fast enough reflexes to beat the enemies at the difficulty level that the game demands. A great shame.
I've got no interest in playing this myself, but I'm glad it exists. Like hey, someone made an FMV game after all this time and it looks pretty damn good. That's impressive. Keep doing what you're doing.
Giant Bomb had some pretty nice things to say about this.
