Starfare is a real time strategy game with a Space/Sci-Fi scenario. The game is about capturing Asteroids and holding them to gain resources and bring down the enemies. The tricky thing is that the Asteroids may not always be static.
There are 12 missions with a (hopefully) exciting background story as well as the possibility to create custom games. A nasty AI will accompany or fight against you.
You can play as one of four factions which can be picked by yourself in a custom game, or which is predefined in a campaign. All of them have different properties and advantages.
A maximum of 64 players allows you to witness gigantic battles with like 24 different units.
A new version of Starfare (1.0.66) is now available in the downloads section. This fixes a serious bug and (hopefully) compatibility issues.

A new version of Starfare (1.0.66) is now available in the downloads section. Thanks to DSTgames who pointed out that campaign progress wasn't saved which made the campaign unplayable, this bug is now fixed. Everyone, please donate some cookies to them ;)
Another attempt to fix compatibility issues is also delivered with this patch. If you are lucky, the game may run on your machine now when it did not even start before.

Would it be possible to have the Desura version updated to Starfare v1.0.67? When I recently downloaded the game off Desura, it only gave me version 1.0.65 and I had no way to access the campaigns in the game.
i find that the box o select all units, it stops after a bit. It just dissapears when it gets a certain length and width.
Yes, this will happen if your mouse cursor hovers the interface to prevent you from accidentally selecting units e.g. when clicking on the minimap.
I'll try to find a work-around for that.
