Speed Dreams is a Motorsport Simulator featuring high-quality 3D graphics and an accurate physics engine. It implements exciting new features, cars, tracks and AI opponents to make a more enjoyable game for the player. It is also intended for any research, study or teaching activity, around physics and AI, thanks to its GPL V2+ license, and the clear and modular architecture of its C/C++ code base.

Operating systems:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
Linux 32bit or 64bit (Tested on Ubuntu 14.04)

Minimum:
CPU 1.5 GHz, Memory 512 MB, Hard drive 700 MB, Graphics hardware OpenGL 1.3 capable card with 128 MB RAM (Nvidia GeForce3 or better, ATI Radeon 9000 or better, Intel HD 2000 or better). Controls using keyboard and/or mouse.

Recommended:
CPU 2 GHz, Memory 1 GB, Hard drive 1.5GB, Graphics hardware OpenGL 1.5 capable card with 256 MB RAM (Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra or better, ATI Radeon 9500 or better, Intel HD 3000 or better). Controls using game-pad or steering wheel.

Speed Dreams 2.1 is the premium Open Source racing simulation for both Windows and Linux, featuring a realistic physics and enhanced cars and tracks. The 2.1 release includes a new physics engine (V4) and a tuned  set of 'supercars' for racing in a number of events (both Challenge and Endurance).
