Where is the windows standalone installer? I don't see it...
It say's it's also available for Windows!?
There is no standalone Windows installer. You'll need to use the Desura client, unfortunately. I provide a Mac standalone installer because there is no Desura client there.
Out of curiosity, why? Frankly, that's just a reason for me to not get this game, as I don't want to use the client, and hardly any other games on desura require it.
The reason is I can push out updates easier and players will receive bugfixes (almost) automatically.
But... if you're not a fan of the Desura client, just download the standalone Mac version. It contains a runnable JAR file that can be run on Windows (and Linux) as well. Double clicking it should be enough. Just make sure you have Java installed. :)
Thanks for the tip! Never would have thought to try that!
Thanks for the quick response. I've already found a way to solve this. I just downloaded the Game through the Desura client and then removed the files from it.
Und im übrigen, ein wirklich genialer Platformer!
Ich mag diese einfache und doch sehr charmante Oldschool Grafik. Inspiriert mich vielleicht selber mal ein Platformer zu entwickeln ^__^
Hmmm... that's the "beauty" of Android fragmentation. Devices that are not the norm like the Xperia Play (due to its sliding cover) sometimes behave weirdly whereas all other devices work just fine... I'll look into it!
Oh one more thing, I just realized that the Sqaure button works for attacking.
X and O work as enter and back keys but the Sqaure button and others use unique key codes. Kinda odd if that works without it being done on purpose but perhaps there are other devices with the same key codes? Just curious if that is by mistake or you had programed that in? Never seen the buttons work without being specially coded in first.
Yeah, I *tried* to make it work as best as I can! I looked at the specifications for the Xperia Play and implemented the proper keycodes. Then I prayed it would work, given I had no device to test it on. :)
Thanks for thinking of us Xperia Play users, button setup works xD
If you make an update, think about binding that start button too, its just handy, the corner onscreen button works well as is too.
