Set in a mysterious and abstract sterile environment, Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a first-person puzzle game that challenges players to navigate each level by manipulating coloured cubes that surround them. There's little to go on as the game begins - the player is dropped into an all-white room with few instructions, and simply has to figure their way out. The tone of game changes as the player finds small and big alterations to their environment, supported by an original score, inviting each player to let their imagination take over as to where they might be. Through experimentation and discovery, players will progress through an ever-evolving series of cube puzzles that will challenge them with logic, physics, platforming.
This weekend Q.U.B.E. will be shown at PAX Prime 2011 in Seattle, USA.

We've been hard at work for a new demo to show at this years PAX. There's new content including green cube puzzles, rotation sections and the new gloves :D We're about to show our latest work to PAX attendees this weekend. We've got a booth complete with 32'' TV, QUBE poster, QUBE flyers, QUBE t-shirts, business cards and stress cubes to give away! We're part of the "Indie Alley" alongside other games including Monaco, Joe Danger and The Skulls of the Shogun. There's going to be an "Indie Passport" giving an incentive for gamers to check out each indie booth. The gamers must complete a different task at each booth to win a prize! Our task is: "Create a QUBE style level from stress cubes". We're really looking forward to seeing what people think of the game in its current state - it's going to be an exciting time! See you there :)

Hey QUBE crew. Saw you guys at PAX and thought QUBE, Faraway, and Monaco were the most innovative and intriguing things at the show. Can't believe you came all the way from south Wales, but it was a real treat to get a look at your game. Best of luck to you and I'll keep an eye out for it!
Thanks a lot! Glad you like the game :)
Funnily enough, all those 3 games are funded by Indie Fund! :P
