Oniken is a 2D platform action indie game that make use of 8-bit graphic style. My friend Pedro Paiva and I are putting a great effort to guarantee that this game feels really like an 8 bit classic. Everything on Oniken, from the character design to the music, is a tribute to the 8-bit action games from the NES era. So if you like old-school games be prepared for Oniken and remember... Oniken is NES hard!
By purchasing Oniken, you will also get with no extra charging Oniken“s Manual and Original Sound Track composed by Thommaz Kauffmann, Bruno Araujo and N-Freq.
*** Mac and Linux version uses wrappers. They're not a port, however in almost every machine that we tested the game it runs without any problem. However if you had a problem please e-mail us!

Hey guys! Love the game! However, I would like to play it with my NES controller via the USB RetroPad Adapter (http://www.brunofreitas.com/node/41). Is there a way to configure the buttons? None of the joystick profiles seem to match my controller buttons. Thanks!
Hum, you can use an unnoficial solution. Try Joy2key.
Yeah, ended up using that! It would be nice to have a proper in-game joypad config screem though! Keep up the great work!
We have been trying to make a propper input method, but our engine is very limited.
Thanks man!
hey i was just wondering what was used to compose the music and sound fx for the game... it would be of great help to me... thanks for your time and making a great game...
Hey man!
For SFX we used a open source program called SFXR.
The soundtrack was composed using Fruit Loops.
Hope this could be useful and thanks! =)
i'm also planning on using fruity Loops :)
