I ve got trouble running it on 12.04! it fails to start entirely!
It may have something to do with the permissions of the launcher. Is the Oil Rush launcher in the Oil Rush folder executable? That's the first thing that comes to mind. I seem to remember having to do that in my Kubuntu 12.04 install.
The minimum hardware requirements says "Intel HD3000 (Windows or Mac only)".
Is there a problem with HD3000 under GNU/Linux?
Intel only supplies open source drivers on Linux and they have to leave some things out due to patents and the like.
Sweet game, play it with a couple of mates, good fun lan,but there is never any online games?
online games are only visible in Local network...
Да, игра понравилась, напомнила Z. Огорчает то, что не видно ни одной игры. Может всех достало уже?
I can't say I'm exactly sure what the driver is for linux, but I assume it is the package I had to install to get nvidia working:
nvidia-common 295.20-0ubuntu1~oneiric~xup1
bumblebee-nvidia (this is for nvidia optimus support for linux)
you ll probabely need nvidia-current too, but bumblebee depends on it, also make sure you ve got the latest bumblebee from the bumblebee-team and not the old one from mr mee, ubuntu 12.04 has some issues with bumblebee so you ll need to configure bumblebee manually. you can find instructions here (12.04 only): Geek.co.il
I forgot to mention that I also have nvidia-current installed with the latest bumblebee, and I still get the same errors.
