For temporary fix please copy and paste this line in terminal before running the game:
sudo rm /dev/input/js0
This command will disable joystick device and game will be run smoothly. Thanks!
I hate to post this so long after the date, but it isn't a joystick issue, it's a drop sensor. In my case it is hp_accel, though it may vary system to system. You have to code in to ignore controllers with no buttons/hats to ignore it.
yeah, i just noticed it was my joystick(old ps3 controller).
but anyway, why is the game even trying to use a joystick, if its mouse game ? :P
