Stepping back to the days of simple easy to play RPG games. Not like todays sometimes highly complex systems. This game will have you hooked on how simple it is to play and give you the urge to just keep playing! The choice is yours, will you be a great and noble warrior? Or a evil money grubbing mercenary. These are all choices you can make. Purchase a house, fight monsters, complete quests, kill stuff, buy stuff, kill more stuff, level up, and fighting things is as simple as pressing one button.
The world of RPG is waiting for you.

This game sure feels like it has potential.
Combat is pretty okay despite being a bit clunky. The first fights with the goblins were very unclear. I tanked the very first enemy and mashed light attack, which was very unwise because I had to consume multiple potions before he dropped dead. Weaker starting enemies would be totally rad.
The dialogues are terrible, there are spelling/grammar mistakes here and there and it reaaally feels like it's not taking itself seriously. I mean, this is really casual, it's like reading forum-posts made by younger teenagers.
Graphics and Audio are actually good. :)
I expect good things at release.:D

First thing that was a turn off was the title screen. The title screen show you how unprofessional the game is "St4rt teh GAM3"? Really? Then i noticed, me being somewhat of an avid Rpgmaker vx developer, these sprites are mostly defaults or created using a generator (I have no problem with that, just seems lazy and not worth 6$ for generated sprites) Some soundtracks were default also.
I'm not saying the game is bad and all, im just saying its not going to be worth 6 dollars for Default Characters and Soundtracks.
Other than that the game so far is decent and it will be better.

For being premium there are still so many bugs. I've come across 2 broken quests an hour and a half into the game and several unexitable areas I had to use fast travel to get out of. I like the freedom, variety, and humor this game goes for, but this is one of the few games I've gotten so frustrated with that I've shut it off.

I actually bought it. I still only got free beta when I launch, I sit in this crappy intro for 3 minutes. (twice)
To just go out and hit a slime that is unkillable and kills me. How great.
Tbh, I really want my money back.

I don't know how the designers can look themselves in the eye when they wake up everyday, offering a 5.99 "Premium version." Just downloading it took precious memory on my laptop; even THAT is asking a lot! And you know what? I feel I am being pretty nice giving the game such a high score. This is purely on the basis that work has been put into it at all, and giving a game a score of 1 is dishonest by those standards. Nothing about it is really even remotely desirable. If the game even attempted to take itself seriously, perhaps it'd get a 5. However, even the title of the game (the designer must have been trying really, really hard) is a complete joke. And the opening game menu? Don't get me started. It looked tacky and was laughable at best. I came into it with no expectations, and yet somehow was let down in the end.
Maybe you'll like it, who knows. But honestly, I find myself questioning whoever was in charge of letting this find a home on Desura.

So far I am enjoying the game. I guess the only problem I am facing is (with the premium version) that I cannot complete most of the quests. I am not even that far into the game and most of the quests either glitch out or they do not prompt for a completion. So far I am enjoying it and having fun. Reminds me of the good old days that is for sure. Only request is that the bugs are fixed however!

For a game made with RPG maker VX, this isn't bad at all.
I like how the author continuously provide updates to fix issues and improve various systems.
However, there are a few improvements can be done. The music and SE is lacking, the game's battle system is a bit clunky and is way too simple. The story has a really slow boil, like its FF 13 or heavy rain. It is filled with annoying fetch quests most of which have no logical connection to the main story what-so-ever. Not to metion the combat in this game is not very fun, at all. I think the author can take some ideas from the great RPG "Advanture bar story" on IOS.
The reason I give this game such a high score is that, I want to give indie developers a message: just because you are indie, don't mean all you games can be short and unfinished.
