With Fire & Sword is the thrilling sequel to the action role-playing hit Mount & Blade: Warband. Be a mercenary or join one of the five battling factions to conquer, destroy or create empires. In an open sand box world you choose your allies, your enemies, what provinces to conquer, what castles to siege and what quests to embark on.With Fire & Sword also greatly builds and expands upon the highly regarded combat system from Mount & Blade: Warband. Firearms have been introduced to the battlefield. Also, muskets and pistols can now be used as sidearms in hand-to-hand combat to quickly drop your foes.In addition to the enhanced singleplayer mode, With Fire and Sword also provides a host of original multiplayer content including the new game mode: Captain.

Alot of people complain about it and i don't know why, it's an indie game. If you even pirate this you are so ******* low, people complain about this could just as easily have been a mod for warband instead of it's own game, but the developers need our money to continue satisfy us with their games, they are not like infinity ward or activision or SEGA. So if you have complains i don't want to hear them, the game is great, a bit unusual and hard to get used to the new stuff, but it works perfect after some playing. I hope their next series will be better and i bet they will be more satisfying. But i hope they go back in time cause it's the medievalwarfare im after. So cheers, great game! I recommend buying all three of the games "M&B, M&B:Warband, M&B WF&S" !

I agree. Pirate people like EA and Microsoft who deserve it, but not indie developers who have awesome games! They've never done anything to you to deserve it, EA and Microsoft (and others) have.

And yeah, I love all the M&B titles, this one is just as great as the others, in it's own way. I miss all the things they took out, but I love all the things they put in, so it's a trade off.

here, here... you have no idea what i went through to get all the mount and blade games... in the end after going through friends (rather unreliable ones of that) it took a lot of time and effort but i feel better knowing i paid for them and didn't sink to the lowest depths of piracy :D

I hope they'll upgrade the combat for example being able to duck/weave under enemy swords, disarm enemies, include sprint bursts where you or the enemy sprint at full pace to get a bonus attack percentage or something, a new countering system, the ability to circle your enemies with your troops and force them to surrender or just slaughter them.. this stuff would be awesome if you guys were to implement even some of these ideas or other ones into the combat gameplay mechanic of the next mount and blade! Keep up the good work though, love your games :)
