A minimalist, creative, hard and cheap plattformer, which combine all the good old features, like triggers, moving and rotating plattforms, spikes, etc. in one big Level and adds a new gameplay element such as the player automatically jumps if he hits the ground. The idea was to remove everything that dont have to be in the game and create a game, made of pure gameplay and level design. So, ingame you have just one big (3.4k blocks long) level with 56 checkpoints to save in it, that will take you for houres to come to the end.

We are working on Jumping Line 1.1, wich will add some cool features.

Posted by CapricornGames on Nov 15th, 2011

  1. Our "music guy" is working on some new backgroungd songs.

  2. We are working hardly on a LEVEL EDITOR for Jumping Line. You will be able to use all the features of the game in your own levels. Maby there´ll be level design contest and you can send us some ideas about new features. You´ll also be able to choose from a growing number of background music.

  3. You´ll  also be able to upload your levels and download levels from other players. Also this feature will be minimalitic, like the game now is. You won´t have to fill in personal datas, an email address, you won´t have accounts, passwords or anything else. Everything will run in background, also if you hand in levels. it´s just two clicks and your level is online. Anything else wouldn´t be part of Jumping Line.

Oh, by the way, if there is anything you think about this game or if you wan´t to tell what you like on don´t like, you can contact us.

greetings,

More levels in the game would be nice aswell, since the game is a bit short :)

Unless you are already planning on this, you could also make paths, pivots, and joints to make moving platforms, rotating blocks, and see-saw like areas. Water would also be nice for the game. its a lot like the gravity fields, but its weaker and yellow blocks float to the surface when they enter.
