Urban Terror is a free multiplayer first person shooter developed by FrozenSand, that (thanks to the ioquake3-code) does not require Quake III Arena anymore. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh.
Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game.

If your trying to run the 64 bit on a 64 bit Computer it wont Work Use eiather the .exe or 32 bit :)
za duży nacisk położono na refleks... to niestety trochę psuję odbiór gry
tryb BOMB wyborny, ale zdecydowanie za dużo tu kicania, zaawansowani gracze psują zabawę swoimi króliczymi tańcami... nie ma taktytki, strategii, nie ma team playu
Gram w UrT od roku. Nacisk na refleks uważam za wielki "+".
Jeśli chodzi o taktykę i team play (a raczej ich brak) jest to standard na publikach, zwłaszca jak serwer jest przepełnonym CTF'em. Polecam grać na mniejszych serwerach albo wybierać PickUp'a.

counter strike rip off?
No, it's no cs rip off . It is way more action oriented than counter strike. And you don't have to buy weapons after each round. just pick your guns and start killing. And it does not emphasize camping as much as cs does because aiming penalty when moving is not as huge as in cs. It's fun. give it a shot. I recently started playing again. Brings back quite some memories :)
I've been done some reading: I replaced the desura UrbanTerror executable for the Arch Community repository and it surprisely worked. I guess this could work as a temporary fix for now. Executable link: Mediafire.com
Me too. I've tryed to play a couple times here in my x64-Arch but without sucess.
Same problem on arch 64 bit.
