Lol I hate you so much. I bought the game for $11.25, and then it becomes $2.99. XD

*AUTO-SAVE UPDATE*

Recently, some users were having difficulty loading their saved game when continuing their Single Player game.

To clarify, the 'Reboot_' command on the main menu screen, will allow you to reload your auto-save.

We appologise if some users experienced any difficulties, and as a result, this has been taken into consideration and will be made clearer in a future update.

There's definitely several problems I'm having with the game:

1. Not being able to change settings on the display/control side of things really does inhibit the freedom with which one has access to the game.
2. Having to sit through every intro video (even as you launch the game) without being able to skip anything can get pretty annoying, especially when you're replaying sections.
3. I can't save. Auto-save doesn't work for some reason, and every time I've played the game -- one time I was at Construct 8 I believe -- and had to exit out, I haven't been able to pick it back up where I left off. This is insanely frustrating.

Overall, the game seems promising. I would love for these issues to be resolved, as they'll make the game far more enjoyable.

Hello there Stony,

Many thanks for your feedback.

We'll look into a possible issue with Desura and auto-saving.

The game is unplayable on 1280x1024 screen, and there is no way to fix the resolution - main menu items are out of view.

Hello there Zachary,

A resolution config dialog will feature as a primary menu in a future version of INIT.

Thank you for your feedback.

After trying the demo, I'll comment this comment:
A. No graphics and control settings, not even resolution and mouse sensitivity.
B. Sliding and accelerating. I gave up on construct 5 after at least 40 tries, because most of the time the character either slipped off the platform, into the laser or didn't get enough speed to cover the gap. There was no tutorial on jumping which didn't force you to restart the entire section on failure, so learning that over a pit of dangerous water was incredibly annoying.
X. Buttons. Single-button panel requires precision aiming at the tiny rectangle in one of its corners. This gets old really fast, when you have to press it every single time you restart the section. Actually, what purpose does that first button serve in C5? You have to press it and then wait for the platform to shift into jumpable position every attempt, no rush, no skill needed. Can't this be done automatically, or with a floor pad?
Y. Must the players sit and watch the level intro (title and numbers) every time they restart? The level is loaded, but the controls are offline until that HUD prompt goes away. Again, 40 retries of a single level bring any unnecessary hesitation between runs into a damn huge spotlight.
L. Any tutorial on jump height? The game gives you absolutely no clue where the character's feet are. Are there strafe jumps, running jumps? What height of laser will cut off my legs if I jump over it?
R. Ball control. Essentially, LOLs control like the Ball in The Ball. The only difference is LOLs are small. Also, LOL behaviour depends on whether or not you're aiming at them, and getting them long distance can get complicated. Of course there's an easy way out - you stand where you want the LOL and "force pull" it, but then the ball rolls under your feet and the character stands on it and starts spinning around. While you're recovering, the yellow menace rolls away.

So, are any of the above fixed/covered in the release version?

Hello there Selenimar,

Some of these issues, and a few others, have been looked into and will form the basis of the first update to INIT.

Hello there Fabmin,

We're planning to put together a full OST, should the demand be high enough.

Stay tuned for future updates.
