You're welcome :)
Is there any chance that people who bought the game directly on Desura will get a Steam key?
I've just started the game and clicked on New game but I was unable to move camera. In other words I move mouse but it resists and camera returns back. Please, help.
They only thing I can think of is try to unplug a gamepad if it's connected.
No, it didn't work. I still can't move camera normally.
My OS is Linux x86_64
I found a problem, theres this spider right in the hallway near the zombie game, with what seems like a huge collision box or what not. Its impossible to get around it, and its even pushed me through the level geography. I'd really reccomend removing the collision from it, as its a bit silly you cant even step over it.
Get close to him. Wait a bit and he will go away. Open door on a right.
Desura team check every submission and every update manually. So I'm not even sure, that it's possible to get infected file on the store.
never heard of Themida before, but everything i'm reading says it's both a type of DRM and popularly used in the creation of malware. not good at all, and fraudulent to be claiming this is DRM-free when it isn't.
Themida is basically an anti-hack solution.
It generated a lot of controversy a few years ago, because the Themida-protected files cannot be scanned by any antivirus. Eventually the AV providers gave up and stopped tagging Themida as dangerous despite its great potential danger (any malicious program is invulnerable with Themida).
To my knowledge the only AV that still tags it as a potential danger is Eset Nod32, and that only if the user selects the option "detect potentially dangerous applications".
It is my decision to not use any software that uses the Themida solution, better safe than sorry.
Im sure Gynophobia is DRM-free but that doesnt mean it contains no copy-protection.
