Guncraft is a voxel first person shooter that boasts fully destructible environments, the ability to construct individual blocks or full structures in a single click, tons of killstreak rewards such as helicopters, jetpacks, bunker buster missiles, drones, and turrets, and a fully featured map creation tool that also features a Minecraft map importing function (using the Substrate XNA engine). Play traditional modes like Deathmatch and CTF, or never before seen modes like Lava Survival and Siege Mode. It's finally here! Guncraft is now available to play on Desura's alphafunding system. Join for free in the open beta or pre-order for exclusive bonuses and a discount on the retail release.
Guncraft's Current Beta Features -
- 8 weapons, from the traditional assault rifle to the speciality hookshot.
- 8 grenades/consumables, including sticky grenades, C4, bouncing betties, and medkits.

This kind of game should be a free game, not a paid game. If we want to play a game like this, we will just turn to Minecraft since it has more players and your beta doesn't even have like 2 players at 1 time -.-

Make it free then. If you want players to play and to earn some money. Make it free, give special skins or something special to donators (excluding maps, weapons or anything that make the game unfair).
We can't make money doing that. Making games are extremely expensive. We are in open beta right now, so you are more than welcome to play it, for free, as much as you'd like, until release. If you don't want to pay for it then, that's your choice.
Excellent point. However, have you considered doing more advertising? I haven't seen much news regarding the project on ModDB, and I suspect this may be the case elsewhere. (I could be very wrong, though - I don't actively follow this project.) If more people knew about Guncraft, I bet they'd be more inclined to try it. Also, I'd recommend reading "Indie PR on a Shoestring", a rather excellent and insightful article by Mr. Robert Fearon on some ways to inexpensively advertise your game, which can be found at Gamasutra.com .
I don't know why everyone is being really derogatory about this game, it's really quite polished and fun to play for its Beta stage. Its like Ace of Spades but better!

It is multiplayer only?
Currently yes. You can do free-build mode offline. We'll also be adding a mode that can be played alone or with friends.
