Azriel Odin, ex-assassin, arrives on the rain-drenched planet of Barracus. When things go horribly wrong, he can only seek help from the very criminals he used to work for.
Meanwhile, across the galaxy, a man called Delta-Six wakes up in a hospital with no memory. Without knowing where to turn or who to trust, he vows to escape before he loses his identity completely.
As fate brings these two closer together, we discover a world where life is cheap, identities are bought and sold, and a quest for redemption can change the fate of a whole galaxy.

Will buy it once it has a native Linux version on Desura.

Please change the Engine in the Title to AGS, it's not custom built, it's a pre-existing engine with a name.
For anybody who's interested, we've organised a developer Q&A/chat session with Gemini Rue creator Joshua Nuernberger as a part of the Double Fine Game Club!
Saturday the 4th of August at 12:00pm PDT (US West Coast time - that's 5:00am on Sunday for those of us on the east coast of Australia).
We'll be meeting up in the #DFAdventure IRC channel on foonetic.net. Details and a webchat link are in the forum thread below (the first post will be updated soon).
Everybody is welcome! :D

Damnit! I missed it... and I'm even a DFA backer. I probably missed the Machinarium game club playthrough also :-(
Any chance of GR appearing in Ubuntu? <hopeful cat face>
Help with a good, solid, Linux port of Adventure Game Studio, and it will be very easy for Wadjet Eye to properly package it for any distribution. Along with Cognition, AGDI games, and dozens of other awesome AGS adventure games.
Would like to see the Desura pricing more inline with Steams for this game, as I'd rather buy it via here than Steam. Time for a sale maybe? :)
I came here to post about just that. Seen it around the web in various places for less than the Desura price. I like Desura but I'm not willing to pay almost double for a game just to get it on here.
Yeah, the Linux version seems to work really well, in terms of gameplay, for most games. Problems I've experienced with multiple games include full-screen scaling, and sometimes problems getting audio to work. But, yeah, there is an AGS contributor (JJS, by the way) who has been committing all the patches for Linux.
Even if the game plays perfectly, we still have to convince Wadjet Eye that it is worth packaging and supporting. They are notoriously conservative in terms of commitment of resources, so we have to convince them that it will be worth it.
