For the last week of May, indies are celebrating the online stores that let us set our own prices and sales. So for this week, May 24th until June 1st, Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon will be massively discounted on Desura. Why? Because We May!
Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon is the award-winning 3D role-playing game from Rampant Games. Voted Best Indie RPG from GameBanshee and RPG Watch, Frayed Knights offers old-school turn-based combat with a humorous storyline over the top of a rich, detailed game system. Dozens of monsters, hundreds of items, and literally hundreds of spell variants, Frayed Knights is a game that both pays tribute and teases the classic role-playing games of the 1980s and 90s, but doesn't let the humor overwhelm the story or the game system. It's a challenging game of exploration, adventure, and the "Power Word: Defenestrate" spell.
You can also get the free strategy guide, chock full of ... actual strategy, development tidbits, "in-character" lore, interviews with the characters, the inner workings of the game system, a complete equipment guide, and of course a walk-through for the entire game.
