Try downloading the EXE installer(it is a standalone installer at the top of the page here on Desura. That should probably work until I can figure out why the Second Alphas not wanting to install correctly over the First Alpha for some reason. Thanks! :) :) :)

Thanks, working now. Looking awesome, loads of new features in. However you need to turn down how quickly ypu move and progress through the game, e.g. upgrading army and buying equipment is too quick and easy. However i might be wrong as this may just be so people can test. One last thing is that you need to change landscape/textures. It's bare and barren in many places :) again thanks and good luck with development.

Also: will you add weather?

Oh yea this is not the final version, the Beta will be much more efficient and have more things to do and see. We turned the run speed way up to compensate for not having a horse(yet). The army upgrading is easy at the beginning, you can easily upgrade Peasants, Militia, and lower ranking troops, but when you get to the next to higher level troops, upgrading gets much more difficult. So to raise an army of archers and experienced swordsmen is relatively easy, but to get to foot knights and marksmen is going to be rather challenging. Upgrading is based on the level of the troop that you want to upgrade to, and is exponential based on the troop level, it gets a bit harder to upgrade to a higher level troop, and way way up at the top of the curve is marksmen and foot knights.

The loot could be potentially scaled down for the Beta, looting may be too high level, it's something that can be balanced.

We lowered the amount of grass in some areas for performance reasons, that's why there are bald spots. This should be resolved by the Beta. We're also thinking about adding weather and seasonal effects(such as landscape textures and tree textures/foliage changing based on the seasons, autumn will see bright colors, winter will see faded colors and white snow, springtime and summertime will see lush vibrant colors and clear weather). Thanks for your support! :) :) :)

Yea the maximum resolution that Fortis Rex supports is 1920x1080, I couldn't figure out how to get the engine to detect the desktop resolutions, perhaps the Beta will be able to do that though. :) :) :)
