At the end of next month, or middle September. There's lots of new stuff we have yet to add, and some bugs to fix. We want to get it just right to play before releasing it! :)

Could developers name 5 main paragraphs in which this game differ from Mount&Blade series? Thanks in advance.

There are numerous other differences, both minor and major that make Fortis Rex ROTK®© totally original and unique from M&B Warband and Oblivion, we are gamers and got a TREMENDOUS amount of inspiration from M&B, M&B Warband, Oblivion, Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, and MANY other games, but all of our work is original and unique. We feel that a game that has combat inspired by M&B WB(but again not directly copied but inspired), with the gameplay of RPGs such as Oblivion, is what gamers have been waiting for for a long time, we know we have! :) :) :)

5 main points Fortis Rex: Rise Of The King®© is different from M&B series:

1. Spoken dialogue with hundreds of lines of dialogue, FaceFX© powered dialogue system, Dialogue system Inspired by Oblivion and other games, but again not directly copied but dialogue was inspired by Oblivion.

2. Lush, flowing grass and trees, powered by UDKs Foliage Tool and Speedtree©.

3. Battles against demonic enemies, a supernatural themed storyline.

4. A main storyline with a dozen main quests and dozens of side quests.

5. Collectable ingredients.

The devs have said they were inspired by Mount and Blade and as far as I'm concerned that's a good thing. The features they've revealed so far are different and good enough to make this game far more than a mere copy of Mount and Blade. It's made with Unreal Engine for one. It's a vast open world a la Elder Scrolls instead of a world map with a couple of generic locations scattered around it. There's a storyline, fantasy elements and who knows what else that hasn't yet been announced. It's still in alpha after all. Sure the fighting and army-commanding feels a lot like Mount and Blade, but even if it hadn't been directly influenced by it there aren't that many ways to create those experiences. In the end this type of game is bound to be similar to MnB just like most FPS's look and feel vaguely like each other. Taleworlds doesn't have a monopoly on the genre after all.
