Fort Zombie is a focused-scope, casual RPG title in which the game world revolves around a single building – your fort – and the mission specific chunks of the small town that surrounds it. Instead of a major city or a vast countryside, player’s focus their efforts on building up a single structure, finding and training survivors, and venturing out into town looking for supplies.

this game is great maybe a bit dated but a classic with good gameplay and just has that open world with missions and all i only wish there was multiplayer but that is all
This game is the best game in its catgorey and all those haters hateing on theis game should shut up.
Looks awesome! :)
This game is terrible.
You call this terrible? Play The Scary Maze Game and you don't even dare to be alone anymore.
Looking at some of the code, it's a real work in progress that never was finished or for that matter really cleaned up... There are some elements in this game that are not in any other game currently on the market, that doesn't mean that you just toss a half-fininished game to the masses (which seems to happen all to often lately). I bought the game just to have as a reference or benchmark, but there are days where I do just run around just blasting zombies or smash them with crowbars... Just say'n...
This "game" is really bad, this is obviously the fly. I want to be reimbursed ... in addition the game is abandoned, there are dead. avoided.
(sorry for mystake, i don't speak english)
This game is fun. But its also abandoned.
Some cons before the pro (to mix it up)
Cons:
Dated graphics (not the end all/be all, but just putting it out there)
Not optimized..at all...expect good machines to lag. This is the biggest issue imo
Needs a few more modes.
Characters could use a bit more interesting scenarios. they are a bit uninteresting to save...not critically bad, but would do well to increase the roleplay aspect (maybe dynamic events..see zafehouse diarys)
Zombies are a bit daft..comical, which is alright, but I want a selection to remove the comic zombies (football player zombie and the like)
No multiplayer functionality..which would enhance the game experience. It is a single player game, sure..just a thought here.
Pros:
Fun..It really is. If your machine handles it well, then it can be a good time burner...especially if your a zombie fan (not l4d but surviving in a z apoc fan)
Graphics are better than project zomboid at least
Good "open world" feel, plenty of good ideas for a town
Overall, I wish the game still had people working on it. I feel like it was in alpha stage for what was to be a really excellent game, then the devs simply dropped it or something. Either they need to go back and at the very least optimize the code, or open up the source so the community can mod and fix it.
Its worth 5$ easily...10...maybe if your a true zombie fan (of all genres, be it running infected, shuffling romero, or brains brains brains type)..but know when purchasing that you need to perhaps tweak the executable to eat ram, else it will slow down on you when the hoards amass.
Wish: Finish this game, revamp the graphics, retweak the AI and personality, Add some situational subquests, Add optional 1st person view, toss it on a modern engine, add modes, remove the pie in your face comedy bits, and you got every zombie fans wet dream game.
i'm sorry, better graphics than project zomboid? absolutely not.
i'd rather have good pixelated isometric graphics than ****** 3d graphics and just worthless animations.
I second this notion.
