Fish vs. Crabs is an immersive 3D underwater Tower Defense Game. You play the role of the fish defending your eggs from invading crabs, shrimp and lobster. The invaders advance along the sandy ocean bottom toward their goal. You must strategically place your towers in an effort to prevent the invaders from reaching your eggs and escaping with them.

Your protected eggs are moved to a protected reef that you see as your main game menu. Customize your main menu by placing coral, sponges, rocks and fish around the reef. Different combinations of items will cause the fish to hatch. Name the fish in your reef or feed them to make them grow.

New items will be added to the system at regular intervals for you to discover and decorate your reef system with. We will continuously be refining fish behaviors, improving visuals and balancing game play to give you the best game experience and enjoyment of your reef in addition to new and challenging Tower Defense levels and new objectives.

The game hangs in the loading screen. I here a bit of sound in the beginning and I see the loading screen, that´s it.
System:
Win 7 64 bit
AMD FX 6300 (6 core) 3,5 GHz
8 GB RAM
Ati HD 7850 1 GB (Driver 13.12)
Realtek HD Audio

XP mode does not help, as well as starting as an admin.

I guess we'll have to create some forums for this type of thing.

Is there a log file in the directory you installed in? Did it get to the loading menu or was the screen just black.

By chance, there was a bug a long time ago that should have been resolved but if you switch away and then switch back does it wake up? The bug was the game started thinking it was paused. Switch away and back made it un-pause.

I can see Forcipiger flavissimus and a crab.
The loading bar is not moving and alt tabb-ing doesn´t change anything.

I have an (very long) output-log.txt file in the data Folder.

Maybe interesting:

Thanks! That log file absolutely looks like what I want to see. Can you send it to support@swiftcreekgames.com?

I'm truly sorry but I never saw it. Could you send it again?

In the mean time, 1.2 should be active any time now. Once you see it could you give that a try? I see the 1.2 Mac build is active.

The standalone Mac build was just uploaded. You should see it shortly. We had uploaded the Mac build for the Mac client... that doesn't exist yet.
