Enola is a horror/adventure game about fear, isolation and murder. You play as an unnamed woman who has awoken on a desolate island, without any knowledge of her whereabouts. Over the course of your travels you find there is something else on the island...something dark and evil lurking in the shadows. Visit foreboding locations, solve intriguing puzzles and find clues to uncover mysteries about the island and your own identity. You’ll have to be quick and cunning to survive; but do you have what it takes to save another life?
Shadow men got moves!
I’ve been working on some mocap for Enola using iPi desktop motion capture, and I wanted to show you a glimpse of what we’re doing with it.

Enola gets motion capture!
A while ago I wrote about using Face Robot (a facial animation module in Softimage) for facial animation, but I still hadn’t addressed the body animation. My idea was to use an image-based motion capture...

Building characters (building Angelica)
Today I want to talk (or rather, write) about characters and why this matters. In some games, characters are "empty vessels" that players step into, but in other games, characters are something more...

For some reason on this game and no other my FPS is in single figures most of the time, and yet I can run Dishonoured on high settings!
Hi, does this happen all the time or only in specific areas? I know a few areas on the island tend to slow down because there are many trees and the level isn't well optimized yet (working on that). Overall we're still missing some optimizations so the screen doesn't slowdown due to the amount of polygons on the screen.

Was going to mention somthing about the trees killing my framerate, good to know its a known issue :P
Yeah, we've been postponing that issue for way too long. I think it's time to finally fix it and also start optimizing everything else so framerate is as smooth as possible.
Thanks a lot :D
I just can't unlock this safe in the church :(
lol, I have to say that one's very easy actually. The woman gives away the combination at some point. As you know, she's very good with numbers :P
Yea I don't know how I dolved the numbers trap but not the safe lol
K-I'm Playing game and already stuck LOL-Seeing as this is an alpha version, I just wanna make sure I am not having a bug issue here , and that I am just being outsmarted LOL-
I am in the "church" and got the rusty key from one of the red monks. I am now trapped in and can't get out. I also saw the puzzle off to the left on the wall, but I cannot seem to interact with it. I can highlight each of the empty "glass like" buttons (that almost look like buttons in inventory) but they are not numbered/lettered etc and I only have the key in inventory so it can't be that you put things into the "buttons." I have tried giving my key to different monks, and using it to open doors. Is the wall puzzle supposed to be doing something else, or am I just a dummy, and I am missing something etc? HELP! :) PS-If you wanna PM me as not to give away anything to everyone else, that's cool too-I just REALLY wanna keep playing!
