Enola is a horror/adventure game about fear, isolation and murder. You play as an unnamed woman who has awoken on a desolate island, without any knowledge of her whereabouts. Over the course of your travels you find there is something else on the island...something dark and evil lurking in the shadows. Visit foreboding locations, solve intriguing puzzles and find clues to uncover mysteries about the island and your own identity. You’ll have to be quick and cunning to survive; but do you have what it takes to save another life?

I’ve been working on some mocap for Enola using iPi desktop motion capture, and I wanted to show you a glimpse of what we’re doing with it.

Enola gets motion capture!
A while ago I wrote about using Face Robot (a facial animation module in Softimage) for facial animation, but I still hadn’t addressed the body animation. My idea was to use an image-based motion capture...

Building characters (building Angelica)
Today I want to talk (or rather, write) about characters and why this matters. In some games, characters are "empty vessels" that players step into, but in other games, characters are something more...

The Brazilian website XboxPLUS wrote a very nice article about Enola. Maybe not many here can read brazilian (I surely can't!) but you can always use google translate :D Xboxplus.net
Hooray! The client-installable version of Enola is fixed now! You can open your Desura client and download the update directly, no more launch craches!

(Prototype+Demo)
Hey, thanks a lot for posting! It's very cool to see how Enola has changed from the prototype days to what it is right now!
Hello all! Just remember if you run into any bugs or problems with Enola, you can let me know by posting a message here, or sending a private message. Anything that helps us polish and debug the game!
I can certainly vouch for you in regards to that! I needed help for many things 'Enola' and you were very gracious and patient with me! Amazing game, and I am waiting for your rating to slowly move up to where it belongs, because it absolutely deserves it!! Can't wait for the next update! Gonna play the whole game through again :)
Hello all, well I FINALLY found out what the problem was. We had updated to the latest version of UDK and it seems Epic kinda-broke the "UnSetup.exe" file and that's why you've been having all those problems. I reverted to an older version of the file (one that did work), I've tested it on the computers I have available and it's working. I am going to upload a fix now and you should be able to download it in a couple of days or so.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for letting me know about this problem!!!
Hello all. I am trying to find a solution to those crashes you get when you download the game through Desura. In the meantime, you can use the Standalone Enola EXE installer directly from the Enola Desura product page, that one works perfectly.
I will try to get an updated version for the Desura client as soon as possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hey Domaginarium the programming in the game has some issues I think. .NET runtime gives an unhandled exception from the program.
Update: Got the UE3Redist file to install but game still isn't working -same error as before. :(
