Just a note for anyone looking to find Quake Wars - Steam was the last place selling copies and they pulled it.
Anyone trying to establish online registration at this point are out of luck as the website to do so seems to be taken down.
Bots are pretty decent offline SoL for multi-player against real players.
I'm getting a very odd error in this game for linux. When in game, my player would just spin around, as if the forward movement key was held and the mouse was leaning to the left. Is there any way to fix this?
Maybe a stupid question, but where can I actually get this (for Linux)? And are there still players around and does the thing still work or is it glitchy like the Wolfenstein:ET?
its a good game but my headphones are not compatible with ALSA so using pulseaudio i get no sound :\

Played it a couple of months ago, there are still quite a few servers up & running.
The two "Enemy Territory" games are still the best in terms of multiplayer!
And no,it does not copy the Battlefield series, as it has objective based gameplay

This game takes more from Battlefront than Battlefield.
i agree AI is good but pretty hmm well idk i got runned over by friendly tank and AI just shouts sorryyy xD i was like omg are you some ******* retard but rofled hard
And dont blame physics o.O This have still same aspects as other quakes i tested on ps3 you cant strafe pad (continuos strafe jumping) but can make your jumps longer with circlejumps (and flying with icarus)
I think this is pretty good as a GAME but shittyest quake ever :s
