At First glance, it seems a lot like futuristic Terraria with original and alien biomes, which can be good and bad at the same time. I'm practically sold for the 8 Euro copy, but I must ask some questions first :
1. How many "strange" biomes would we encounter? (The description says there is only one world).
2. What are the mechanics you're going to focus on? Exploration? Building? Fighting? Lots of monsters or items?
I'm not sure what to think and I'm sorry if the comment might be offensive to anyone (Is it?)
Answers would be nice :) thanks
Oh and I'm going to vote for you on greenlight, but it would be awesome if you could make those keys for steam work if I buy it here

1: Not including special micro biomes, currently there are 5 major biomes. (We plan to add more in the future but want to keep focused as a very small team)
2: This is a harder question as some of it is intrinsic to the genre but there can be more leaning. The game will have a more (man/woman) vs Nature feel. Especially since your first MEGA goal of the game is to terriform/biostabialize the entire world.
3: We are working on the logistics about steam keys. There is always hidden red tape to deal with and it is under major discussion.

If you get the game, please come out and hang in the IRC and take part in the community. We want to be a community driven experience and we listen a lot. At the moment I'm still recovering from a pretty nasty flu, but normally I hang out int he IRC a lot. Hope I helped answer some of your questions.

Yes you answered some of your questions and the topic I favourited on steam greenlight answered my other questions, so yeah even if I'm pretty shy I'll try to show myself on IRC and forums just to play with someone, make a team and I definitely like the feel you are trying to create :) and thank you for your time answering!
Now I just wonder how much time would it be for steam to acknowledge this piece of jewel, I might wait to buy it until it pops on steam to avoid the matter of cd keys (I like to have all my games on steam), any idea of the ETA? If it takes too long I just buy it on Desura and the hell with it xD

Alrighty, I gotta ask, why are the game files password protected? You're freaking out my antivirus. XP

They aren't password protected, but like any game install, it does require you to verify that you want to install the game :P

I already have the game installed, but when I ran my antivirus today, it freaked out and the message it gave me was "Error: Archive is password protected." and all the files are for Edge of Space. Though all of the files in question do have 'launcher.exe' in the root directory, obviously not a big deal, but odd nonetheless. EDIT: Version 5.0.10
