“A deserted island…a lost man…memories of a fatal crash…a book written by a dying explorer.”
Two years in the making, the highly anticipated Indie remake of the cult mod Dear Esther arrives on PC. Dear Esther immerses you in a stunningly realised world, a remote and desolate island somewhere in the outer Hebrides. As you step forwards, a voice begins to read fragments of a letter: "Dear Esther..." - and so begins a journey through one of the most original first-person games of recent years. Abandoning traditional gameplay for a pure story-driven experience, Dear Esther fuses it’s beautiful environments with a breathtaking soundtrack to tell a powerful story of love, loss, guilt and redemption.

This´ll be 10 dollars well spent! I can hardly wait.
Strongly agree! I will probably get more out of this game then most mainstream games released theese days!
Will purchase for sure!
Am I to expect a different story? Or is this just a remake?
It's a remake.
They´ve modernised the story, added action, first-person cutscenes that involve button smashing, and the british voice is replaced by a deep manly grunt.
naw
Well bad gameplay is certainly better than no gameplay at all!
It's a narrative. That means you should expect narration, not action.
money on artwork? a bit silly. i'd pay for a game though. with actual gameplay.
Thats like saying I'd buy a picture book with no story and burn real books because there are too many pages.
Me Gusta
That barrel and piece of scrap turn into a crowbar and the HL 2 logo. Im not gonna tell you what happnes next, but it involves a dark G man.
