Dary's Legend is a graphical hand-drawn, roguelike dungeon crawler game. Help Dary as he embarks on a journey full of perils, monsters, traps and treasures.
The game is in alpha so expect frequent updates as we build the dungeon towards the final build.

Why have we been so quiet
The game is still in development, we've been working on new skills, new ideas, especially David, who is a workaholic. But in this last month the art section has been the problem.

Hi DJ_Link,
today I have tried to reproduce this crash, but without success. The last time the game crashed, I had played for one or two hours. After quitting the game with the "Save & Exit" option the game freezes. Means that I can see the mainmenue but nothing happens if I tried to click "Exit". Except the process was only quitting by the taskmanager.
Sorry, that I can't tell you more specific but I will keep an eye on this phenomenon and answer here if I find something new out.
Greats
BJ
Hi bjkraemer.
Thanks for letting me know. Yes, it appears the crash is kind of random. Might have something to do with some component in the game getting corrupted after a long time playing. I have to track this down, it's just being hard to reproduce :P
Anyaway a new update should be up in a few days so two things might happen, it can be more stable or less stable on that problem. Less stable has the advantage, it will probably mean we can catch the pattern to make it crash sooner :)
Cheers
Hello I don't know that this is the right place to post the following, but it is the easiest way for me. On my PC System the game crashs after "Save & Exit" the game. Only the Taskmanager can quit the game finaly. For further information contact me please.
Greats
BJ
P.S.Sorry my english but it's not my native language
Hi bjkraemer.
Sorry for the delay. You are the second person to report that crash.
I've fixed one of the errors, but there's still something that occurs occasionally that ends up crashing it. I'm still trying to reproduce the error in order to debug and fix it.
Does it happen to you every time? If you could tell me the steps that make this happen every-time it would be great :)
Maybe the next update will be a bit more stable but I know there is still some weird exception happening.
Any new updates coming up soon?
Can't say an exact day but we are getting closer. This new one will bring and Easy and Hard mode, a fully new floor, and a couple of other things so it is taking us a little longer.
Well you have done great so far, I really love the design of it... Not to mention i'm addicted to
it already;)
Just published a 15 minutes Gameplay video from the version 0.5.5.1 (a game from start)

Wow, fast response :)
Suprised you've never heard of Dvorak tho, it's so much easier and faster to touch type on this layout! I am NEVER going back to QWERTY.
Thanks for looking into it, hope it's not to much trouble.
