I can't wait any longer. Steam Greenlight has taken too long for this game.
I preferred to use Steam for my games. But after all the difficulty and all the great games like this that are on Desura rather than Steam, I had to finally sign up for Steam. If just for this game.
Steam can't be that great if I doesn't have Bunny Must Die. I guess Steam wasn't so great as I thought after all.
One of my favorite Metrovania games. In the line of Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, except this is much more "cute"... ^_^
I was honestly very frustrated with this game when I first played it xD But it had a cute concept and I'm sure once I play it more I'll like it more.
Until then, I made a video of me getting frustrated at this game :3

This game is lots of fun. I love how it makes fun of the genre itself. Like in the very beginning you cannot walk backwards but you get a "'artifact" that allows you too. LOL
If you think you would enjoy something like Castlevania - Symphony of the Night (but with a very Japanes twist), this game is for you.
It's very useful to know that the recall ability lets you restart the final boss's current stage (it has 7 phases!) instead of resetting you to the start of the battle. Since recall isn't terribly useful due to the abundance of savepoints otherwise you should save your bunny dolls for the final battle. Don't waste them on nonsense just because recall is fairly useless for the rest of the game, you can't get them back.
And even though the final boss seems crazily hard (even compared to all that came before it) it really pays off to beat it, the second quest is drastically different, far beyond any of the unlockable characters in Castlevania games.
I happen to like the original soundrack better than the updated "arranged" one. Is there (or will there ever be) a way to get access to mp3s of the original songs, too?
Really hope it doesn't end up being similar to the Gundemonium Collection: where with Desura, it's DRM Free + Remixed Soundtrack, and with Steam it's Steamworks + Both Soundtracks.
Can you make the game adapt to non-QWERTY layouts?
Also is it no longer possible to get the layout-independent key ID in a modern OS? Pretty much all games seem to bind actions to letters instead of keys (it used to be possible to get a key ID that depends on the physical location of the key on the keyboard instead of its letter in the current layout).
While I can't make the game adapt to other layouts due to the nature of the library it uses, there is full keyboard reconfiguration available through the INI file included with the game.
