Reminds me of a game for intellivision from years ago called loco-motion. Fast and supporisingly fun.
I was very disapointed when i got it for my birthday, but after lpaying it for a few days I got hooked.
It was not until now that I actually admit i like the game.

In your 3D application, load up your locomotive, and turn the "smoothing" on. It will make the sides look nice and smooth.
