Astralia is a top down space shooter with RTS elements, you fly around shooting up monsters, at the same time commanding a team of drone fighters and capital ships, and gathering resources. The gameplay requires both reflexes and tactical thinking, effective use of the allied ships and resource management are essential to playing and winning the game, if you don't pay attention to that the A.I. will make short work of you.

Not in the foreseeable future, this is first time someone asked for a mac port...

Not really, other than the thing that it's space game (this based on watching some videos, not actually playing it).
I like this game , it's pretty awesome !
The ship moves with the mouse, left click and hold to fire, keyboards shortcuts are shown unless you disabled them from the options.
Also, the first level starts with a controls tutorial.
Just verify this on the tutorial (demo) version. Keyboard shortcut are shown up to the point where you will have to kill the alien hive. Don't know what is right shoulder or analog stick eqv for keyboard. Tutorial is showing pictures of analog stick etc.
