A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda is the first chapter in a fully-featured episodic hardcore action packed side-scrolling platformer series. The world is under attack, and the machines have been taken control by the mysterious Zytron. Our hero Ares. finds himself mysteriously immune to the Zytron virus, and now the only one who can rescue the scientist stranded on the Zytron infected space station, and destroy the cause of the threat in the process.
Take Control of Ares , The pinnacle of cybernetic defense soldiers with the unique ability to synthesize scrap metal into a valuable energy source, which he in turn uses to constantly upgrade and evolve.

My first instinct is to compare this to Vectorman or Megaman X, that aside, I'm gonna get this, it's frigg'n awesome.
and the music really fits the game
Well, even though its totally Mega Man, its on PC, and its legit looking, so I'll be buying it on Steam. :D. Where I already own 260 games, so sorry Desura.
It reminds me of Metroid...
