Wow, great game and it's free! You guys rock! For the record, I'd buy it even if it did cost €15.
Glad you like the game!
Yeah, great game. Seriously, start charging for it, you'd get some serious buck. Any chances for Linux port?
Well, this game supports linux since early beta stages. Desura team (windows_os guys? ;)) just ignored linux client during their approval process of the release. Just go to: "Official Page" on the top right and then to "DOWNLOADS!".
Ah, cool. Could you talk to Desura guys then about adding linux build here?
So on mac it likes to default to 800 x 600 fullscreen and it does not like anything else. It crashes when going to windowed mode, it crashes when going to a higher resolution... Any tips or has this never been reported?
This is some rare bug of the game engine. Rare because seems like affects only some small group (not all) of Mac's users.
You can find some informations and tips here:

Bug was "reported" on IRC and after that this user disappeared.
Feel free to add something to this report (on forum directly is the best way).
Well editing the .ini file with the resolution options did it but it still would have been nice to not have to do that.
As Filux pointed out, the problem so far was that those who reported the bug did not show the patience to follow up on it with the engine developers over at forum.megaglest.org. If you're not going to do so either it means this bug won't get fixed and the next one affected by it will have to go through the same hoops as you did. Open source gaming depends on players to help debugging.
Do note i do not check desura every minute. I had no clue that this was reported before and when i updated that i had to do a tweak in the .ini file your posts were not up yet. I will follow up on this as soon as i am able. Do not assume that i will not do something. I support open source gaming but i usually dont have the skill or the knowhow to truly help. I will at least update the report that was put up and go from there.
