99 Waves to Die is a twin stick arcade shooter, inspired by the arcade games, and 8-bit home consoles/computers, of the 1980′s. Remember when video games used to be insanely difficult? When you used to spend £’s in the local arcade trying to get the high score? When having your three letter initials/acronym at the top of the table meant you were the king? Well we do, and that is why we are creating 99 Waves to Die. Can you survive to see Wave 99?

Oh dear...the twin-stick shooter doesn't actually support gamepads. I can configure it in the Unity frontend, but the gamepad doesn't do anything in the game itself.

It works with XB360 joypad, but I've not tried it with every make that is available. Can I ask what Joypad you're using?

I've tried it with a Logitech F510 (both in DirectInput and XInput mode) and with a Saitek P3200 Xbox controller. Neither worked.

I've just uploaded a new version with, among other things, improved controller detection that should make more joypads/controllers work with the game.

It's just waiting on Desura's approval process, and it will then be available to download.

And indeed it works - with both pads. Thank you very much - this game is so much more fun in front of a TV with a joypad :)
