99 Levels to Hell is a platform shooter with lots of guns, upgrades, magic, traps and monsters to kill.
99 Levels to Hell is a rogue-like-like, which means surviving is key and every time you play you get a random selection of levels to play.
When you complete 10 levels, the 10th being a boss-fight you unlock a door to the next dungeon.
Hidden in the darkness of the dungeons are shops, casinos and elevators. And if you search the dungeons carefully, you might find secret rooms that unlock more of the story, and free new adventurers, you can play as in your next game.

The version numbers on the files available for download make no sense: One file is labeled "v2.0.0" on Desura but "1.0.0" on the actual file, while the other is labeled "v3" on Desura but has no version number at all on the file itself.
Meanwhile both files have a "Gold" label for some reason on Desura - Does that mean "Gold Edition" or "Gold" as in, finished?
Can you please just tell us which is the more recent build of the game?
Hi, I started uploading beta builds a long time ago here on desura, So the version numbers where way beyond 2.0 when I was done.
Start the game and have look on the menu screen, if it say 2.0.0 that the newest, but all should say that. Please let me know if they don't.
Thank you
Bo
Ok. So, both versions of the game show "2.0.0" as you said. But they is clearly some difference between them because "v3" is 338 MB - 20 megs bigger than "v2.0.0"
If I understand you correctly, "v3" is the newest beta version of the game, while "v2.0.0" is the last stable version. Is that correct?
Will you upload a Linux build to Desura now the game's available for this OS?
I might do that when I update next time
Awesome! :)
I dont can play the last update
the update will be out the 19th of february
This game is not launching for me.
Hi,
I changed a lot stuff in the next build, hopefully it will help. The build will be up when we release on Steam.
