3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it!
"Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 !

3089 Update: New Accuracy System & Game Guide
3089 has a whole new dynamic accuracy system based on your movement & your weapon's recoil. New players will also be able to reference the in-game "Game Guide'. Many other improvements are also included!

Are you going to put up a pre-order option / alpha access for 3089 on Desura too? Seems you're just using BMTMicro at the moment.
The game itself looks interesting. Seems you did away with block/voxel based level structure in favour of more verbose terrain.
3089 will likely come to Desura, but I'm not sure when -- BMT Micro is a bit more efficient during development. I do have auto-updating features in the BMT Micro version, so I would recommend getting it there instead of waiting. If/when 3089 comes to Desura, I'll do what I can to get people with BMT Micro copies Desura keys who want them.

Thanks. I did get the game earlier from BMT Micro once I found out it had auto-patching capabilities (saves me from manually re-downloading updates each time). Hopefully you are able to allow me (and everyone else) to activate it on Desura for convenience sake.
This game seems to have a lot more potential than 3079 did when it was back in its alpha/beta phase. I actually do hope you can get destructible terrain in there though because the landscapes just seem better suited for it than a bunch of blocks and with multiplayer only being limited to two this time around, I can't imagine there being THAT much overhead with terrain updates.
On a side note, the upgrade points system is certainly a lot better and more realistic. Not to mention far less abusable than what 3079 used. I remember purposely blowing out my life support system using high energy cost weapons for a rather rapid energy AND health boost in 3079. That isn't going to fly in 3089 though.

3079 is already a complete game, while 3089 isn't (yet). However, as much as I love 3079, if you can only buy one, I'd prefer 3089 and benefit from all the new incoming stuff.
Do you get an error message? Can you send that error to me via e-mail or post it in the forum?
