3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it!
"Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 !

3079 has had 2 more updates since our last news item: lots of multiplayer improvements, some texture improvements & now items will safely drop from destroyed storage. A new server is now up which has already been updated to the latest version! Read on for more...

3079 continues to receive updates in "maintenance" mode thanks to your reports!
3079 has reached v2.18.9 and improvemets are primarily to the multiplayer system. I changed up the entity management system, which should save on bandwidth and fix sporadic "invisible NPCs" while playing in a multiplayer game. I've also remastered many of the textures to improve compatibility on older hardware and make them look a bit more smooth. Finally, items will now drop safely from storage boxes.
3079 has a new server, thanks to Edward J! You can connect to it by entering in:
ukpro.dyndns.org
... as the server address in 3079. I still strongly recommend starting your own servers when possible, since if everyone ends up using the server above, it might get a bit laggy!
I'm also announcing my next game, which is due out this August 24th: Gentrieve 2!

Heh, it's sad, I haven't seen anybody on the server yet.....
There are people joining, but they only join for a quick second, see nobody, then leave. If you join, stay for awhile -- someone else might show up!

There is a player list! I believe it is just /players in the console (do /help for all of the commands)
