We will be using the developer's door texture (dev/dev_measuredoor01) as a reference when cutting out a door in our wall, and then replace the dev texture with a normal door texture to make a fake door.
Then we will move on to cutting out the door from the door frame of the texture, and replace that with a door that can be opened.
