Shaders are probably hard to script... I would like to make Warcraft 3 a little bit HD'ier ect..

True you two... :) Basicly emerged from Quake 3 and added some tweaks and ect. to it. Still nice though. Just wish quake 3 can get a make over. :/

This is the funniest id tech 3 derivative i've ever seen. You read that right, it's just idtech3 with a physics engine and a pixel shader subsystem.

GravityCat Jul 9 2010, 6:45pm replied:

juniez its funny because people are so far up call of duty's *** crack they think that infinity ward made the engine when its just a modded id tech 3 engine. so this page should honestly be deleted because its like saying 2k made an engine for bioshock when its just heavily modifyed unreal 2.5.

yeah and source is a derivative of id tech 1 so that shouldn't have a page either, along with Darkplaces, Goldsource, Qfusion, and Telejano.

you need to realize that especially with an engine like quake people are allowed to make significant changes to an engine and call it their own.

yeah the press releases always mislead. that's why people think valve totally made Source themselves in the first place, too, denying any q1 origin evidence as malarkey.
