Its not worth getting Project Zomboid on Desura because they have not updated this for months.
It is worth it, because you need the Desura version to play the oublic test builds, and to get a free copy on stean when it becomes fully Greenlit.

Sad, very sad to say that after buying the game, I need to resort to piracy in order to play.
You know, if you're selling an Alpha, that's ok. If the version you uploaded to Desura is now 5 months out of date, well I guess that's cool too as long as it's playable. But man, don't upload a game that just won't launch after you've made people pay for it. Don't make casuals go to your forums to figure out just how to make it work, and don't even get me started on the making the updated version work part, plz.

man i just bought it and it works...oviously it have some bugs but is an alpha.
i think this game have a lot of potencial.

They're all public test builds, but yes, they still work and yes, are still fun.
I got it and it worked on story mode but it says loading on sandbox mode but doesn't
