Illwinter Game Design
Developer
Illwinter creates games that focus on depth and lasting playability. We try to make our games more stuffed with monsters, spells and items than any other games on the market. Animation sequences are kept simple to enable us to increase the number of features in the games. Dominions 3 features more than 1500 units, 300 magic items and over 600 spells.
We also consider games to be more fun if you can play against another human opponent. Our games reflects this and enables many players to compete against each other.
Currently we are developing Conquest of Elysium 3.

Also keeping my eyes open for Dom 3. A digital download would be fantastic.
Forget the "within 48" hours thing. We're going with "within 8 hours". Very nice to see this up, and much looking forward to it as soon as I can get some of my immediately pressing work behind me.
PS. I had read that the anticipated price for Dom 3 by digital download would be $9.99. I will cheerfully promise that if it becomes available for that price, or even $19.99, I will buy and download within 48 hours.
The only thing that has prevented me from buying in the past is that I am on a snug budget, and the price point was previously a bit over my top. Though, I admit that the spiral-bound 300-page manual has a distinct charm.
Same for me, man. Same for me! I am looking on Dom3 last 3 years, but 55$? Impossible in Russian province.
Where did you read this? I'd like to see it if possible. Not that we won't all know soon anyways--just curious.
Ah, somewhere on the Shrapnel forums, though I admit I couldn't tell you where. It was enough to catch my attention and pique my interest.
That's alright. That's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Thanks anyways though.

Unfortunately, this isn't official information, and I can't tell where he got the information from, but this is where the rumor started, I believe.

These at least confirm Dominions 3 will be here on Desura. Given CoE3, methinks Dominions 3 will arrive on steam, though I'm not sure if I want to wait if it comes to Desura first.
That information was just speculation based on an incorrect link on the Illwinter home page. From now on, the best place to look for information is the actual Desura.com page here and the attached forum. :)
The information I had is that it was offered to the same 3 places as CoE3 quite a while ago. It seems to be up to those sites now.
Dom3 has been turned down before by Steam but hopefully having CoE3 on it will make a difference.
